Amazon.com: Kitchen & Housewares: Gaggia 35008 Carezza Espresso Machine, Silver (#)
„Carezza is Gaggia's new appliance for an increasingly younger and modern market--just take a look and you are sure to be impressed by its characteristic design. Soft lines, pastel colors, casing in ABS plastic, clearly visible and easy-to-access controls are just some of this models distinguishing features. Other features include an ergonomic filter-holder grip; drop-trap basin and cup-support grating in stainless steel, both easy to slide out; group and filter-holder in chromium-plated brass; drip-proof system; and an automatic self-priming device to facilitate start-up.“

„I have to give a backstory here first. I originally visited Artigiano about 4 months after they originally opened, and while I was impressed with the latte art and general atmosphere of the place, I wasn't impressed when I ordered a double ristretto. It wasn't very good, and was served in a way-too-big cup. The prep method was to serve in shot glasses first, then transfer that precious tiny amount of liquid over to a large cappuccino cup.“

„This item will cost you less than 20 dollars. Glamorize your servings with a sprinkling of grated chocolate or cinnamon powder. Your little brother will be impressed, believe me. Cheek kiss, Frederick.“

„The “Big Four Roasters” are extremely profitable, with margins estimated at between 17% to 26% on billion-dollar coffee sales. However, Oxfam says their business strategy is increasingly risky. Coffee quality is falling because farmers don’t have the money to take care of their crops. The companies have made savings but have done next to nothing to help the poor farmers who find themselves at the wrong end of the corporate supply chain.“

„Posted September 29, 2003 link This clip (and article with nice latte art pics) might be close to what you guys want. Not a lot of detail on the frothing part but the rosetta pour impressed the hell out of me. Some more videos on frothing technique would be welcome, though!“
