„Keep in mind that because they are mostly stainless steel, with an aluminum bottom, Farberware does not heat up quite as fast as, say, hard-anodized aluminum such as Calphalon, which gourmets prefer. Stainless steel is a poor heat conductor, while aluminum is good and copper is the best. On the plus side, you can't put Calphalon in the dishwasher and Calphalon does not have true stay-cool handles, like Farberware.“

„Or a durable mug with some other kind of liner that doesn't impart the off taste of stainless or plastic but is still easy to clean? Thermos makes a beverage bottle with a glass liner, but they don't put the Nissan name on it and they sell it for eight bucks, so I'm suspicious about the durability and quality. Zojirushi bills their stainless mugs as having an "easy to clean" interior but I can't find any information about what that interior is made from. Perhaps someone out there who owns a Zojirushi can give me more info.“

It reduces the need to decalcify dramatically". I don't know about the claim "the only coffee maker", after all, plenty of full commercial machines have all steel boiler systems (even the consumer oriented Bunns do), but this is good news for you and me as someone who might use this brewer. I think it also helps with the previous point - the heat thing.“
