Amazon.com: Books: Creating Killer Web Sites (2nd Edition) (#)
„I don't get the people who see this as a milestone. It's more like a millstone around the neck of web designers and developers. I think it did more to widen the gulf between designers and developers than help us work together. Leaf through this online or in a library, glean what you can from the few techie tips that are still worthwhile, then put it down.“

„As more genetic research, particularly at the molecular level comes to our attention, it seems clear to this writer that this book will represent an important milestone in reducing the millstone of the myths that have accumulated denigrating and/or ignoring our genetic diversity. This book will certainly be a must for my students, and it is surely long overdue!"“

„"Commodification" refers most explicitly to the activities of turning things into commodities and of commercializing that which is not commercial in essence. The mass marketing of pets, the rise of the coffin industry, the conversion of preacher into salesmen, and the globalization of Taleggio cheese are some of the exciting but surprising topics in this volume that show how friendship, death, spirituality, and artisanship all have a price after being commodified.“

„I wanted a book about the history of the coffee industry and consumer practices and, boy howdy, that's what this book is. No need to offer back handed complements because I was surprised by the content or expected something I didn't get. Kind of like when the twins come home from school all in tears because they done got Valentines Day cards from some of their play friends at school and the inside of the cards had been doctored up to read in a humorous, mean sort of way.“
